GD 235 REAL QUANT CL Detection of Chlamydia trachomatis by Real Time PCR
GD 235 REAL QUANT CL Detection of Chlamydia trachomatis by Real Time PCRChlamydia trachomatis infections in humans generate a variety of diseases produced by a gram-negative bacterium, Chlamydia trachomatis usually sexually transmitted, such as lymphogranuloma venereum, pelvic inflammatory disease and trachoma.
To 16 serotypes of Chlamydia trachomatis are related the following diseases:
Serotypes L1 L2 and L3 cause lymphogranuloma venerum while trachoma is related to serotypes A, B, Ba and C; and finally the remaining serotypes (D, E, F, G, H, I , J and K) generate forms of conjunctives, genital infection and pneumonia in newborns.
Real Quant CL device is designed to allow the search for Chlamydia trachomatis in specimens from endocervical /urethral swabs and urine of infected subjects using a HPA (High Performance Amplification) protocol in a single step that combines the experience in Real Time PCR and optimisation of amplification reaction thrust
